Kathleen King
Owner

Kathleen grew up in Northern California and became interested specifically in weight training while in high school. Her interest increased during her college and university years. Although she graduated from the University of Utah in Family and Consumer Studies, she has always loved healthful and creative cooking in conjunction with exercising on a regular basis. She decided to change careers to pursue the passion of health and fitness and has now been working in the industry professionally for eight years here in Utah. She believes that true health and wellness must be achieved through the mind, body and spirit. Nutrition has been a key element in her subject content with her clients as well as a healthy emotional well being on the internal mind set. All of these things combined, goals can be reached in a much more realistic manner. Understanding the body and it's metabolism is an integral ingredient in the attainable goals of the client, therefore education of the metabolic process is also a large component of her training. She is certified with AFFA and continues with updating certification workshops annually as well as continually keeping herself educated with extracurricular learning material and information. She has senior fitness and physical therapy experience in addition to her vast exercise knowledge and understanding of the human body.
